Royal Caribbean International honors Montrose Travel as West Partner of the Year for 2016

Montrose, CA January 24, 2017 - Montrose Travel, a division of CTM (ASX:CTD), a $4 Billion global travel powerhouse and nationally recognized Top 12 Travel Management Company, was acknowledged by Royal Caribbean International as West Partner of the year for 2016. This commendation pays tribute to an elite group of travel agencies within the United States and Canada who embody passion, commitment and innovation and go above and beyond to achieve success.

Montrose Travel honored as “Hometown Heroes” and closes 2016 with a company-wide celebration.

Montrose, CA December 5, 2016 - Montrose Travel closed their Diamond Anniversary year with a number of exciting festivities to celebrate their continued growth and success. Saturday, December 3rd proved to be an eventful evening with two such celebrations both in the local community as well as within the Montrose Travel community.

The festivities began with the 40th Annual Montrose-Glendale Christmas parade – a family-focused event with more than 500 people in the community including youth groups, cheerleaders, bands, celebrities, political dignitaries and local Police and Fire departments marching down the festively-lit Honolulu Boulevard, with a special guest appearance by Santa Claus himself. Montrose Travel was honored as one of the community “Hometown Heroes” with company leaders, Joe and Julie McClure and Andi McClure Mysza, acting as Grand Marshals in the parade. This served as a true testament to how Montrose Travel has been a pillar of the community since their inception in 1956.

One year ago, Montrose Travel announced its acquisition by Corporate Travel Management, allowing the former family-owned agency to operate on a global scale. This local honor comes at a time when Montrose Travel is experiencing growth like never before, but serves as a reminder of how they have stayed true to their roots.

"We keep our community very close to our hearts," states Montrose Travel President, Joe McClure. "Our company was born here, nurtured here, and grew here." Montrose Travel has continued to be active in the community for the past 60 years by supporting local organizations, sports teams and events, and evidently, it has not gone unappreciated.

Later that same evening, Montrose Travel held their annual Year-End Holiday Awards Party at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California, where a record number of over 400 employees, independent contractors, friends and business partners enjoyed delicious food and drinks, entertainment, comradery and inspirational speeches.

During this joyous event, Montrose Travel celebrated the strongest sales and profit performance in the history of the company and honored a number of the travel industry’s strongest performers of individuals and partners who have gone above and beyond to nurture the commitment to their mutual success. From Presidents Club to Partners of the year, everyone from receptionists to travel agents, web developers to travel suppliers were recognized.

After the awards, guests danced the night away with party props, photo booths and hand-made cocktails. This special evening gave Montrose Travel the opportunity to celebrate all the hard work and effort that went into making 2016, their 60th Anniversary, such an incredibly successful year.

Montrose Travel's fun and engaging Adventure Joe campaign wins industry award.

Montrose, CA - Montrose Travel, a division of CTM (ASX:CTD), a $4 Billion global travel powerhouse and nationally recognized Top 12 Travel Management Company, has won TravelAge West’s 2017 Trendsetter Award for Best Targeted Marketing.

TravelAge West’s annual WAVE Awards, a prestigious, black-tie event attended by industry executives and professionals alike, recognizes top travel suppliers in nearly 75 categories ranging from hotel and cruise line, to tour operator and destination. Among the many awards presented throughout the evening are the Trendsetter Awards, given to travel agents and agencies who have excelled in one of four areas: Best Use of Social Media, Upward Bound Rock Star Agent Under 40, Best Group Booking Sales Effort and Best Targeting Marketing Idea. Each Trendsetter Award is sponsored by an industry-leading travel supplier who actively supports the travel agent community and wishes to honor those standing out from the pack. Two finalists in each category are invited to and recognized at the WAVE Awards.

Entries for this year's Trendsetter Awards were reviewed and voted on by the sponsors and editorial staff of TravelAge West. They were presented at the WAVE Awards ceremony held the evening of June 15th at The Ritz-Carlton in Marina Del Rey, where Montrose Travel proudly took home the win for their creative Adventure Joe campaign.

This multi-faceted, innovative campaign highlighted cruise travel during the 2017 peak booking season, and included a beautiful direct mail piece, a supplier-funded sweepstakes component, and sophisticated online personalization and gamification in the form of a digital "scavenger hunt" – all featuring a fun, animated "Adventure Joe" character.

The campaign engaged thousands of clients nationwide -- garnering over 35,000 impressions -- with a 50% opt-in rate to receive future special offer emails and bulletins. Montrose Travel's efforts resulted in a 31.1% year-over-year increase in cruise bookings during the campaign period alone with increases as high as 117% year-over-year for cruise lines who participated in the campaign itself.

Montrose Travel and CTM host annual Snowpalooza celebrating agent sales and employee appreciation.

Montrose Travel held their annual Summer Awards party and beloved Snowpalooza event on July 8, 2017 at the at the Montrose Travel-owned 2349 Honolulu Avenue parking lot. Now part of the global travel conglomerate Corporate Travel Management (CTM:ASX:CTD), 2017 marks the second year that Montrose Travel has combined the two popular company events for an even larger extravaganza- and it was nothing short of a success.

The celebration began in the early evening with over 300 employees, partners, friends and family members in attendance. The family-friendly atmosphere was highlighted by festive decorations, lively music, an employee-run BBQ station and a 12-foot tall stack of hay covered by an impressive 55 tons of snow. Adults and children alike beat the summer heat by gliding down the man-made slope on sleds and throwing snowballs in enjoyment.

Montrose Travel and CTM leaders, Joe McClure, Founder of Montrose Travel; Travis Markel, SVP Loyalty and Chris Thelen, CEO North America, took to the top of the snow mountain to greet and thank all guests in attendance. They congratulated the company on its many accomplishments and shared a few words about the exciting growth and future aspirations. Immediately after, the annual summer sales and achievement awards were announced and celebrated.

The overall atmosphere of the fun-filled evening was full of comradery and pride that was seen on every face and in every conversation. For a company that has grown tremendously over the last 60 years, the sense of closeness and family has remained strong throughout – a trait which most likely contributes to their continued success.
